Loading and Wrapping Pallets

1, Check Pallet for damage or missing parts.

2, Check all the boxes or packages for damage and leaks ect.

3, Label all relevant boxes.

4, Load boxes onto pallet in an even manner. Do not over lap the pallet edges or have objects protruding out..(Fig 1)

5, Do not load the pallet  to high or over weight, bear in mind the type of transport you are using. If it wont fit this will cause unnecessary  delay .

6, Shrink wrap your pallet (fig 2) It will hold your goods secure for the duration of transport and avoid the possibility  of damages occurring. The Driver can assist  with this but you must make us aware that you require this service in advance.

7, Label and or Mark your pallet with the relevant Order number/Reference numbers and addresses  of the delivery  point or points.

8, Have the required plant or machinery  available to load the vehicle on order (fig 3). Companies will not  accept  liability  if you do not supply the plant to load the consignment unless you have requested  loading machinery  to be provided when placing your order. Please be careful about this, because if  we can’t load it  we can,t move it.

9, A good stack and wrap. (Fig 4)

Boxing and Packages

1, Were possible use new boxes for your delivery as reused  boxes can become weak and unstable (fig 1).

2, Do not over load boxes or packages.

3, Use a good packing tape and not sellotape if possible (fig 2).

4, If Items are fragile Mark box accordingly (fig 3) and fill with bubble wrap or newspaper. Other materials can also be used to protect your goods (fig 4).

5, Make sure all items are dry before packing.

6, Label items well with order number/ address ect.
